The Combat Pistol Course at Defense Strategies Group is a high-intensity, performance-driven program designed to build real-world handgun proficiency under stress. This course goes beyond square-range shooting and focuses on the skills required to fight, survive, and prevail with a pistol in dynamic environments.

Students will develop a solid foundation in combat-effective pistol handling, including proper grip, stance, trigger control, recoil management, and rapid target acquisition. Training progresses into draw stroke efficiency, reloads, malfunction clearing, shooting on the move, positional shooting, and threat engagement from unconventional positions. Drills are structured to elevate confidence, efficiency, and composure while operating under time constraints and cognitive stress.

This course is suitable for responsible civilians, professionals, and students seeking to elevate their defensive pistol capability in a safe, controlled, and disciplined training environment.

REQUIRED GEAR:

Pistol, belt, 3 magazines, magazine holders, holster, 500 rounds minimum, eye protection, ear protection, athletic or combat attire (can get dirty.)
