This is a 2 Day course with the following subjects covered: Gun setup, scope mounting, fundamentals of the prone position, zero and crono, basic ballistic app inputs, data cards, internal ballistics, external ballistics Pt 1, and density altitude. Being a good spotter includes conducting talk-ons, wind considerations, horizontal holds, levels of cleaning and maintenance, introduction to a supported position.
Noted: Kestrel will be provided for use of course.
GEAR REQUIRED:
Rifle, scope with sub-tension measurements (no red dots or BDCs), bipod, rear bag, 170 rounds of ammo, folding chair, notebook and pen, ear-protection, & eye-protection.
RECOMMENDED GEAR:
Shooting mat, food water, sunblock, & baby wipes.
