October 17 | Active Shooter Response: CCW Scenarios
OCTOBER 17TH | 9AM-4PM | Piru, Los Angeles
INSTRUCTORS: Mike O., Zack F. & Cameron F.
This course is designed to prepare responsible civilians to make sound decisions during an active-threat emergency.
Active shooter incidents are chaotic, rapidly evolving, and extremely stressful. This course focuses on developing situational awareness, decision-making, communication, casualty response, and coordinated movement in high-stress environments.
Students will work through realistic scenarios designed to improve their ability to recognize developing threats, communicate critical information, move themselves and others toward safety, assist injured persons when appropriate, and effectively interact with responding law-enforcement and emergency personnel.
Training emphasizes pistol work and problem-solving rather than simply memorizing procedures. Participants will be challenged to process information, communicate clearly, and make responsible decisions while operating under simulated stress.
We use Unit Solutions training weapons to create realistic, controlled force-on-force scenarios that allow students to train decision-making, communication, and tactical problem-solving under pressure. These dedicated training platforms provide a safe and effective way to build confidence and experience in dynamic, real-world scenarios without the use of live ammunition.
We will be using Unit Solutions training weapons exclusively.
REQUIRED GEAR:
DSG will provide all of the training weapons. Be sure to bring eye protection, long sleeve shirt, water, athletic or combat attire (can get dirty.)
Disclaimer: No refunds. Class credit is given if cancellation is 5 days or more before scheduled course. We offer Military/Veteran/First Responders and LEO discounts. Email us for details.
Booking Information: You will receive an email 2 weeks prior to the class date with the full course details.
