The Tactical Games blends functional fitness, tactical problem-solving, and realistic weapons manipulation into one high-intensity experience designed to push you physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Built by former military and law-enforcement professionals, this experience immerses you in the ultimate test of endurance, accuracy, and mindset under pressure.

A single day event consisting of four stages designed to prepare you for a TTG Regional Event. Perfect for newcomers and experienced competitors alike who want to sharpen their skills in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

Required Gear:

- Rifle, flash hider or forward blast device only. No stand alone comps, ported barrels, or muzzle breaks

- Pistol

- Eye Protection

- Ear Protection

- Plate Carrier: Men 15lbs / Women 12lbs slick

- Gun Belt with 2-3 magazine pouches for both rifle and pistol

- Holster for pistol with minimum of level 1 retention.

- Up to 5 Mags for both rifle and pistol

- Sling for rifle: Doesn’t have to be used but must stay attached at all times.

Recommended Gear:

Food, water, shade, rolling caddy, table, chairs, sun screen, small repair tools, small weapons cleaning kit, small first-aid kit.

Defense Strategies is NOT a law enforcement agency. Athlete equipment will be inspected the morning of the event to ensure compliance with the Tactical Games rules and regulations. It is the Athletes responsibility to know their states laws regarding firearms, accessories, and transportation.

Duration: Single day competition

Number of Stages: The Skirmish event will consist of 4 stages: 2 Tactical Games stages, 1 Aggregate stage, and 1 Floater stage.

TTG stages: a workout consisting of strength and conditioning movements combined with marksmanship focussed shooting

Aggregate stages: purely shooting stage

Floater stages: Purely fitness stage

No! Skirmish events are designed to be beginner-friendly. They're a great way to get your first competition experience in a lower-pressure environment before moving up to Regional Events.
